I Believe

Have you seen the people who walk around in T-Shirts that say “Believe”? I always want to say, “Believe what?” It’s not enough just to “have faith” or to “believe”. I know it sounds very spiritual to talk like that but it really does nothing for you. Belief by itself is nothing; faith itself is nothing. In what, or who, do you believe exactly? My song “I Believe” isn’t like wearing a “Believe” t-shirt. I’m very, very clear about what, and who, I believe in. Jesus Christ isn’t some metaphysical idea and the cross He died on wasn’t merely a concept- it was all very real, very tangible.
