Thanks to a faithful brother in the Lord!
“Dear friend, you are faithful in what you are doing for the brothers, even though they are strangers to you.” (3 John:5)
How could I find a verse that more perfectly suits the man I’m about to thank? We’ve never actually met in person… strangers, in a way I guess- but brothers in the Lord! Isn’t that a cool concept and reality? We share a common bond in the Lord, even if we’ve never met. We’re like family members who keep finding out we have more brothers and sisters out there! And the neat thing is, we all have the same goal… to see that the whole world comes to know the awesome love of Jesus!
Well, I would like to thank Travis Silva for letting me use his wonderful artwork for the cover of my latest song, “You Are The One.” I first discovered Travis when I was poking around creativemyk.com and fell in love with the things he was doing there. Later, Travis told me about some additional things he’d done, and when I went to take a look, I found the artwork that now appears on my cover!
The thing that I really love about this piece that Travis created is that it so completely conveys the heart and emotion… the very core of what worshipping Jesus is all about. The Word of God says that knowing Jesus is, “joy unspeakable and full of glory!” (1 Peter 1:18) That’s what I come away with every time I look at this!
