Should Christians watch Kundalini videos?
If you get an email warning you of supernatural manifestations of “Kundalini fire” with a link to the videos on YouTube should you watch them?
For a long time various churches have been having what they call “revival” that includes what some say are supernatural angelic visitations, various “manifestations”, breaking out in uncontrollable laughter, jerking, making animal sounds, gold dust, and so on.
As someone who came out of the New Age Movement and was set free by Jesus Christ from the occult I want to say in the plainest way possible:
Don’t watch these videos!
For one thing, most of you have never experienced something like this, and you should make it your aim not to! If someone has never been exposed to pornography, for example, would you tell them to watch an x-rated video so they could be warned about how bad pornography is? Of course not! We are to avoid evil, not instruct ourselves about it and fill our minds with it!
“Avoid every kind of evil.” (1 Thessalonians 5:22)
Why in the world would you want to watch actual video footage showing the bizarre behavior these “Kundalini videos” depict? Do you really believe you have to be there in person to come under the same influence that these people are experiencing? Do you think it’s necessary to go to a church that’s doing this stuff to come under the power that they’re coming under?
When you watch this stuff you open yourself up to the same spiritual influences!
Who cares how shocking these videos are? Avoid them! You don’t want to be messing with this stuff because there are spiritual forces behind them.
After being delivered from the New Age/Occult practices I was at one time involved in (like Astral Projection, Astrology, various Psychic practices etc.) I repented, renounced them, and avoided these things like the plague, and still do.
Why do I avoid these things like the plague? Because I know there is a spiritual counterpart to them- I will not willingly put myself under that influence any longer. I belong to Jesus Christ now and have no desire to ever have that sort of thing in my life again.
I urge you to resist the temptation to watch these videos!
